6 Jobs You Can Do Right From Your Grandma’s Table.

This isn’t a shade in any way to Damilola Daniel Nejo. I admire the young man’s strength but in actual fact, this post is to help you get a life that you will love and admire. If you are like me who has always wanted to work for herself (I should have done a year or two working though), you want to earn a living, make an impact in the world, take care of your family, then keep reading. This post isn’t a get rich quick post. If that’s what you are looking for, swerve! There are youths out there still wasting time looking for jobs. What beats me is how they seat for years at home DOING NOTHING! That’s dangerous to you, your family, your pocket, your lifestyle and your future! It is a total NO NO. These jobs listed here can earn you from N30,000 and above every month. The downside is that you have to always invest in improving your skill which to me is a super upside.

1. Social Media Manager:

Don’t give me that eyes. I am one and I know the goodness and pain that comes with it. Being a social media manager entails that you help businesses manage their online presence. Social media managers are in high demand and I suggest you plug in. You can get this resource here to get you started.

2. Virtual Assistant:

This involves helping businesses or individuals with certain tasks from research, follow up, social media management, email management, design etc. These tasks vary. It means you have to outline the skills you have and find those that you can serve. You can read this resource here to get you started.

3. Facebook Ads Manager:

I know there’s an Ad manager already on the Facebook platform but you my friend, will wield it to help businesses. It means you have to learn the in and out of Facebook Ads to be able to help your clients. You have to understand numbers, analytics, conversions, objectives etc. You can get this resource here to get you started.

4. Community Manager:

The term ‘community manager’ is used to describe someone who manages and becomes the face of that community. The person manages communication especially from members of the community. These communities are sometimes Facebook groups, Facebook pages, Instagram pages and so on. It is important that you are social media savvy and can learn to communicate well. As a community manager, you are responsible for approving content, creating content, engaging with the audience, listening and taking enquiries etc.

5. Website Designer:

Damilola is a huge testimony to how much you can earn being a website designer. You just have to know your stuff well and get clean, responsive websites for your clients. You can start getting clients on Fiverr or Up work if you want to serve the international market. If not, position yourself properly to serve your local market. You can get started with this resource here.

6. Graphics Designer:

Gone are those days when you had to wait to learn Photoshop or CorelDraw to learn how to design. We now have people who are Social Media Graphics Designers! You heard right. These guys use tools like Canva to make a living. The job entails designing great social media content for your clients. If you want to further learn how to create graphics for business materials (complimentary cards, logos etc), see this resource to get started.

What you are capable of doing isn’t limited to this list but it is a great one to get you started. You have no reason not to afford that meal served in a 2 0r 3-star restaurant. If you double your hustle, you can even do a 5 star! The ball is in your court. Which of these jobs sounds like your next gig to explore?
